Having both worked in the carpet industry for a number of years, Jonathan Young and Hannah Rogers have recognised there is a lack of straightforward, unbiased information about carpet and rugs used in the commercial environment. They have worked across disciplines and geographic regions of the world and are aware of the importance of developing carpets and rugs that are "Fit for Purpose" and meet the needs of the client. They wanted to provide a learning platform for architects and interior designers where information could easily be accessed and understood.
The ultimate goal is to promote education and learning within the hospitality, cruise, and high-end residential interior furnishings market sectors.

Primarily Tessere offers custom carpet & rug solutions along with a variety of stocked products. Hannah Rogers founded tessere in 2018 with 24 years experience as a London based carpet designer working for large carpet manufacturers.
